A lovely ROTATING GLOBE, SITTING ON A BRASS STAND WITH A BUILT IN COMPASS TO THE BASE. The detailing, for each continent and country, using many semi precious gem stones and mother of pearl, is outstanding.

Even the lines of latitude and longitude are made from twisted gilded wire. It is a very heavy piece which stands approximately 230 mm high. In lovely condition, no cracks or chips. Would make a striking addition to any collection or maybe as a desk display piece.
