Welcome to the sale of this superb antique globe. Made by George Philip & Sons of Fleet Street London, this is their 13.5 Challenge globe. It is made with a plaster body with paper maps over, supported by a chromed arm attached to a wooden oak base. This one is undated, but if you look at the countries, it predates the late 1920's. There is some minor separation at the paper segment joins and a few minor stains / marks. As you can see the printing is still nice and clear, although pleasantly faded and yellowed as one would expect of a hundred year old paper globe. Please have a good look at the photographs as they form part of the description and contact me if you have any further questions. The globe measures (in cm) 38 tall by 34 wide with arm.

There will be a surcharge for some addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands and islands of Scotland.
