1764 - Decorative Double Hemisphere Map of THE WORLD by Thomas Jefferys (KWM19). A fine antique map by Thomas Jefferys titled "The World" A fine small and highly detailed hand coloured map of the World in the Double Hemisphere. Size approx 30cm x 19cm. His father was a cutler, but Jefferys was apprenticed to Emanuel Bowen, a prominent mapmaker and engraver.
